Climate Crisis: Why It's Critical That Soil Erosion Is Addressed

 


Soil. It's not just mud and dirt, but a valuable resource which is the growth medium for 95% of agriculture, filters water naturally, harbours 25% of the world's biodiversity and is a prime source of the antibiotics which help us fight infection.

This finite resource is being lost as a result of climate change and intensive farming practices, to the point where the UN is predicting a catastrophic loss within the next sixty years.
