In a hearing of the House Judiciary Committee earlier in the year, Tile reported that ever since Apple started work on its own Bluetooth tracking device - AirTags, as Apple keeps letting slip - it has been going out of its way to make life more difficult for Tile and its customers.
Now, in a follow-up letter to the committee, Tile has reported that Apple's behaviour has worsened, and that the promised changes to iOS 13.4 to restore always allow functionality to geolocation apps.
I think at this stage, Tile has to assume its relationship with Apple is broken. Its product has been Sherlocked and its future probably lies in focusing on the larger contingent of Android users as its customer base.
