Morons Setting 5G Towers Alight Because Coronavirus

Yes, indeed, the UK is home to some of the stupidest people on the planet. Social media - as well as some of the daily rags that like to call themselves newspapers - has been pushing the idea that Coronavirus is spread via 5G radio signals. Those rumours are lapped up by those people powered by a low double digit IQ and eventually things start to go south. First with utility workers being harassed when going about regular maintenance and now with arson attacks on the 5G masts themselves. Three masts have been reported to have been attacked.

Now, no amount of rational argument is going to change the minds of these people. Sure, I'm prepared to accept that 5G radio waves could possibly be a source of harmful electromagnetic radiation; despite plenty of testing claiming the opposite. The thought that a virus could be travelling on a radio wave however, is just so completely bonkers as to be beyond argument. If someone you know believes this particular rumour I suggest the best thing to do is unfriend them straight away.  Not just on your social media either.
