Uber Gets Italian Reprieve


A Roman court has stayed an injunction which had threatened to boot Uber out of Italy. The reversal means that the company can continue operations whilst it appeals the original ruling that its services were anti-competitive.

The reversal, unless reversed on appeal in a higher court essentially hands liber a license to operate indefinitely, given the slow pace of Italian law and it he number of avenues for further appeals should it ultimately lose on its day in court.
