Windows 10 has been something of a success for Microsoft, with 400 million PCs running on the platform. One of the best parts of Windows 10 is the Edge web browser which manages to be fast, clean and lightweight when compared to either Firefox or Chrome.
Yet only around 20% of Windows 10 users choose to use the Edge browser.
Last year Microsoft ran a campaign to show how Edge users on battery power could benefit from its efficiencies. Now for the Creators Update the same campaign gets another run.
No surprises, Edge manages to consume significantly less power than either Firefox or Chrome once again. Whether that's enough to get Windows users to forgive the worst of Internet Explorer remains to be seen.
