Normally this is the sort of thing I'd pass on, after all it's highly unlikely that the real events will ever become known, rather the opinions of those on the periphery will be gathered together to paint the events in whatever light the storyteller's bias best supports.
For this I'll make an exception though, given that one of the participants is presenting herself as a candidate for the 'most powerful politician in the world' role.
Writing on Medium Stephen Levy tells the story of the HP iPod, just one of a number of disastrous business decisions which characterized Carly Fiorina's time at the helm of the company. It's a well told tale and aligns entirely with the events as recorded at the time and also with the events viewed with the benefit of over a decade of hindsight.
Well worth a read.
