Lamborghini Miura's Tragic Death by Fire

It's one of the most beautiful cars ever built. Never mind that driving one is an exercise in frustration (and an exercise session in itself - the clutch pedal is as heavy as a regular car's brake pedal in one of these). The Lamborghini Miura practically invented the supercar concept.

So seeing one suffer death by fire should be painful to anybody with an appreciation of automotive history and beauty.

Looking at the wreck of this I suspect that the damage is way beyond repair, although with the value of these things rocketing, its not inconceivable that someone may look to effect a rebuild in the hope of recouping the costs on resale. Much will depend on how much of the engine block remains salvageable.
