PS Vita Price Drops Signal Sales Problems

Let's be honest, when was the last time you anyone using a PS Vita? Probably the last time you were in a store with a demo unit. Sony hasn't hit the mark with its new Playstation portable and now its having to drop the price to try and create some interest.

If price was the only thing holding you back from purchasing the Vita then both Play.com and Amazon are selling it for £169 - not much more than the infinitely less advanced Nintendo 3DS. Amazon are even throwing in one of Sony's ludicrous memory cards to keep you going.

I fear that if Sony has the intention of making the PS Vita as popular as its predecessor the price is going to have to drop much further. Expect to see a £99 Vita before the Christmas buying season starts...
