Samsung Tablet Teased, Looks Good

Samsung has a bit of a history with tablets, not least its long term support for Microsoft's UMPC platform on Windows. Now the Korean giant is about to extend its range of Galaxy smartphones with what promises to be the most exciting tablet launch since... well since the 'big' one anyway.

The teaser video is up on Samsung's website and its a fine looking device, although whether it will demonstrate solid build quality or be a bit lightweight like its smartphone brethren remains to be seen...

Specs would suggest that this Froyo based tablet will be pretty responsive and offer a good user experience. However it would be nicer still if the Android Market was stuffed full of tablet targeted applications...

We haven't got long to wait before getting our hands on the new Galaxy Tab... launch is set for September 2nd.
